The Jewish War Veterans of the United States (JWV) was established in 1896 by Civil War Veterans. They are the oldest congressionally chartered Veterans Organization with an estimated 15,000 members nationwide. The JWV acts as the voice for Jewish military veterans and as a liaison with other veterans’
groups. In Minnesota, there are currently three JWV posts, Post #331, #162 and #354
