The Commander Task Force is organizing a constituent-driven mailing campaign to push a long-overdue update to Minnesota’s Disabled Veteran Property Tax Value Exclusion: raising the exclusion to $200,000 and $400,000.

When you sign up, we’ll generate and mail a letter in your name, using your return address, directly to your State Representative and State Senator, along with a simple end-of-session Pass/Fail report card.

The point is accountability: a Pass means the Legislature increases the exclusion after 18 years of inaction; a Fail means anything less, delay, half-measures, or a smaller increase. We also include a return-ready card so lawmakers can send their results back to you after the session, so you can see, at your mailbox, whether they delivered or didn’t.
