• Jewish War Veterans of America is an American Jewish Veterans’ organization, established in 1896 by Civil War veterans to prove the Jews have proudly served this country since the Revolutionary Era.
• As the oldest congressionally chartered veterans organization, JWV has an estimated 7,000 members nationwide, ranging from World War II to current conflicts and active duty personnel.

• The Department of Minnesota is comprised of 3 posts: Abrahamson-Biglow-Spector Post 354, Nilva-Dansky-Neff Post 331 and St. Paul post 162.
