Founded in 1946, the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) is a national organization dedicated to serving former members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have suffered catastrophic paralysis because of spinal cord injury or disease.
The key objective of the PVA is to take the actions necessary to restore spinal cord injury or diseased victims’ bodies and life potentials as closely possible to those not suffering spinal cord dysfunction.
More than 16,000 members nationally. “As a member, you’ll become part of a family of men and women united to improve the world for veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders and all people with disabilities. PVA doesn’t charge fees or dues – membership is entirely free!”
