Your participation matters—whether you’re a veteran, family member, supporter, or community ally. This nonpartisan event holds lawmakers accountable and drives real policy change for those who served.
The Disabled American Veterans, Department of Minnesota (DAV MN) is once again offering to cover 50% of the cost of a charter bus or large van for any group bringing Veterans to Veterans Day on the Hill 2026 on April 23, 2026.This opportunity is open to all organizations, communities, VFWs, American Legion Posts, Veterans Councils, or any group — no DAV affiliation required. Buses are strongly encouraged to stop at the Cedar Street Armory for the free DAV MN Pre-Rally Lunch (or arrive at the Veterans Services Building by 12:15 p.m. for the March to the Capitol).Important Requirements:
Transportation must be offered FREE to all Veterans and their families (no charges, suggested donations, passing-the-hat, or fundraising of any kind).
Submit the attached Transportation Funding Request Form ASAP (but no later than April 16, 2026) to ensure details can be shared.
